Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan could not resist attending the Golden Globes after-parties and gave up a romantic getaway with her new boyfriend, Joe Francis, at his Mexican estate.
Sympatico reports that the two ended up staying in Los Angeles and attending the parties because “Neither of them could resist the lure of the Golden Globes.”

PageSix reports today that Maria Menounos, who interviewed the winners as they walk off the stage at the Golden Globe Awards show, simply did not deliver. According to the column, producers “were getting antsy” watching Menounos chat with celebs, and one said, “She’s just terrible.” Another producing crew member responded “This is who the brass wanted us to hire.”
It seems as if Menounos considers herself as more of the celebs walking the red carper rather than the ones covering it…
Hilary Swank did not get the reception she wished for at the recent Golden Globe Awards show. In fact she was not allowed in front of the Beverly Hilton at first.
Apparently Swank’s limo driver did not have the appropriate credentials to enter the Beverly Hilton’s area and the whole crew, including the star and her boyfriend, CAA Agent John Campsi were held back by security. According to spys, even the fact that Swank popped out the window did not help. Security simply did not recognize her…
So what did she do? jumped out and popped into a different limo which made it into the secured area. But before Swank got in, she turned to the security goon and “flipped him off.”

Another Golden Globe afterparty altercation happened between Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz. The two, who recently announced their separation, got into a it at Prince’s Golden Globes.
According to witnesses, Timberlake was chatting with actress Jessica Biel when Diaz approached. Biel stepped away, and the former couple had a serious exchange.
Diaz walked away, Timberlake followed, and the two were soon spotted engaged in an intense 40-minute face-off in a side room.
Diaz reemerged looking composed, but not before Timberlake held his head in his hands and, says a witness, “slammed his fist (down) into a cabinet.”

Birthday-boy, Orlando Bloom, was a very happy birthday boy as he celebrated his big 3-0 at Teddy’s Saturday night, because he had Penelope Cruz by his side. “She was never further than arm’s length from Orlando,” a witness told Page Six, even when other women surrounded him on the dance floor.
Bloom’s party gathered so many rowdy revelers - including Andy Garcia, Leelee Sobieski, Viggo Mortensen, Samantha Ronson, Vincent Gallo and James Franco - it spilled into the Roosevelt Hotel lobby.
Matthew is having some good-ole’ time in Australia these days. While he arrived there for the filming of his latest movie “Fool’s Gold,” he seems to have been taking his time and have already gotten hot-n-heavy with several local girls.
